more about me
“Regarded as one of the top 10 Wedding Photographers in Johannesburg South Africa”….so I’m told, but I’ll leave the better judgement to my clients, or that being you taking your time to read this bio. Nonetheless, for more than two decades I have been privileged to grow and develop as a photographer. Since starting my career in photography I have experienced many wonderful moments from photographing a variety of cultures including traditional weddings, African Weddings, Greek Orthodox, Muslim and Jewish weddings, to starting my studio to create the perfect family portrait. I consider myself fortunate & wealthy to have gained an immense amount of experience having met a lot of people, making a lot of friends and journeyed with many of them from engagement shoots, weddings to family portraits. I have never seen myself as a service provider, but as a working guest at your wedding and its always been my pleasure helping couples to manage the wedding day timeline so that you can get the very best out of your photography for that very special day. Whether you have been photographed many times, or if it’s your first photo shoot, my speciality is navigating the process and keeping you relaxed and comfortable to get the most natural photos of the couple on your wedding day. During my editing process colour is key, I opt for a natural look to bring out the best of the bride and groom and the ambience of the day. I have been asked many times what my photography style is, I think the best to describe is that I have a very diverse style, covering elegant, fashion, and fine art through to timeless and candid moments with a touch a glamour. On a personal note, I’m originally from the Western Cape but moved up north to be with the love of my life for more than 20 years now, although my heart and family home still remains in the beautiful Cape. I love travelling and teaching, and I have been fortunate to spend some time in Europe and the United States to nourish my other passion, Architectural Photography I recently joined the very well-known and established photography training group Digital Photography Courses and I’m preparing to present courses on architectural photography. But enough about myself, grab a good cup of coffee and come in and have a look at my work only made possible by the lovely people I have been fortunate to photograph.
